My name is Mike Keane and I’m a Head of Art, Art Director and Digital Art Director working in London. I’m at my best thinking of big ideas for brands. I’ve devised advertising and marketing campaigns in a wide variety of media for above the line, integrated, and digital agencies. These include CDP, AMV BBDO, M&C Saatchi, Agency Republic, AIS, Arc, and Joshua.
When I’m not working for big agencies I work directly with smaller companies. These are mostly web design and development projects, but can include logo, stationery and corporate identity design. I am Creative Suite literate and can take a concept through to print ready artwork or online.
I’ve won many industry awards for art directing. If the occasion demands I can also write copy (I’ve won awards for that too). These include gold at The One Show. A couple of years ago I completed an MA in Design for Interactive Media at Middlesex University and passed with merit. My final project was shown at the V&A as part of the Digital Festival. I also enjoy illustration.
